Dibagger collects the minimum: what is needed to run your account, collect a subscription and know which pages are useful. No advertising, no resale of data, no tracking cookies.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the publisher of Dibagger, a sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel, SIREN 883 193 054), who can be reached at cedric@dibagger.com for any question about your data (see the legal notice).

What is collected, and why

  • Without an account: no personal data. Audience measurement is anonymous (see below).
  • Account: your email address and your password (stored encrypted, never readable), to log you in. Legal basis: the contract (the terms of use).
  • Use of the account: your watchlist, your alerts, the analyses unlocked during the month, your referral code, your choice to receive the Monday weather or not and the language of your emails. Legal basis: the contract.
  • Pro subscription: Stripe customer ID, plan, subscription dates and status. Card details are entered and kept by Stripe: Dibagger never sees them. Legal basis: the contract and accounting obligations.
  • Emails: the welcome email, the temperature alerts you turn on, the Monday weather. Each Monday weather email contains a one-click unsubscribe link; you can also stop it in your account. Legal basis: the contract (a service included in the account).

Partner programme and creators

  • Application to the partner programme: name or handle, email address, link to the media, platform, audience size and message, to review the application and answer it. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
  • Partners: name, email address, partner code, commission statements and, for payments, the account holder’s name and the IBAN. Legal basis: the contract and accounting obligations.
  • Creators contacted: to present the programme to crypto content creators, Dibagger uses the YouTube API Services (Google): channel name, number of subscribers, title of the latest video, and the contact address only when the channel itself displays it in its description. Legal basis: Dibagger’s legitimate interest in presenting its programme to professionals, with a message related to their activity. One message and at most one follow-up; you can object at any time, by replying “stop” or by email: your channel is then never contacted again. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Audience measurement and errors

Dibagger uses PostHog in cookieless mode: nothing is stored in your browser, IP addresses are anonymized and no individual profile is created. What is measured: page views, a few actions (search, sign-up, subscription) and display speed.

Site errors are reported to Sentry (servers in Europe) with technical information (page, browser, error message), without an email address or form content. These two tools only run on dibagger.com.

Cookies and browser storage

Only items strictly necessary for the service are used; they do not require consent:

  • Login session (Supabase): to keep you logged in.
  • Access (dib_access, 7 days): to directly show the analyses your account gives access to.
  • Referral (ref_code, 60 days): to apply the 30-day trial if you arrive through a referrer’s link.
  • Language (dib_lang, 1 year): to remember the language you chose (French or English).
  • Display preferences (browser storage): to restore your filters and your position in the ranking.

Your data is processed by these providers, on behalf of Dibagger and for this use only:

How long

  • Account, watchlist and alerts: as long as the account exists. Deleting the account (from the My account page) erases this data.
  • Invoices and subscription data: 10 years, the period required by law for accounting records.
  • Technical logs and error reports: a few weeks.
  • Applications to the partner programme: one year if they do not lead to a partnership; for the duration of the partnership, then 10 years for accounting records, if they do.
  • Creators contacted: data from YouTube is refreshed or erased at least every 30 days; once the follow-up is over, only the channel identifier is kept, so that it is never contacted again.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, delete it, ask for a copy, or object to processing, by writing to cedric@dibagger.com. Answer within one month. If the answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).
